Volume 6 Issue 2
November 2008
Editorial
The journal has received some excellent papers over the last year on a wide variety of topics.
Moreover the quality of papers submitted to the 7th European Conference on Research Methods in
Business and Management in June 2008 was particularly high. The 10 papers published in the
conference issue (EJBRM Volume 2 (1)) excluded a number of good papers. This issue repairs this
omission. The conference was particularly strong on case methods (Amos and Pearse; Graham and Thomas).
The literature review, a key part of any serious research project, attracts relatively little
attention as a separate activity. Two papers focus on this important stage of research (Armitage
and Keeble-Allan; Page). Three papers offer help on the collection and analysis of qualitative data
(Dyer; Ng and Hase; Sobreperez). Two papers have been chosen for their contribution to improving our
understanding of quantitative analysis tools (Ekiz and Bavik; Al-Subaihi).
