The Electronic Journal of Business Research Methods is an opportunity for academics to share the latest thinking on research strategies, tactics and paradigms. The editorial board are interested in obtaining both theoretical and practical papers concerning research models, as well as considering case studies that demonstrate how research strategies; tactics and paradigms are applied in practice.
Topics may include, but are not limited to, theoretical and empirical research, action research, the use of qualitative and quantitative research methods, as well as developing research proposals, getting academic papers accepted by journals, research design, research protocols, research ethics. Papers will be welcome on a wide range of research paradigms, including critical analysis, discourse analysis, ethnography, ontology, epistemology, naturalistic enquiry, case studies, grounded theory, hermeneutic methods, Critical Research methods; Gender Research and Teaching Research Methods.
- Those wishing to make a submission should send one copy, preferably in Microsoft Word, by e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org Submissions should not be longer than 8,000 words including abstract, keywords and references. All papers submitted to the journal will be double-blind reviewed by members of the reviewer committee or other suitable readers.
- Papers should begin with the title of paper, all the authors’ names and affiliations, and the full address and e-mail address for at least one contact author. A relevant website address may also be optionally supplied. When the paper is online there will be a link to the authors email addresses so that readers can reach you for further information. Please do not submit a paper without these contact details. The journal administrators will remove personal details for the purposes of the blind review process.
- Include an abstract not exceeding 300 words outlining the purpose, scope and conclusions of the paper, and selected keywords and key phrases. It is important that the abstract should be clear and understandable for those for whom English is not the native language. The abstract should explain why the paper is an important contribution to a particular aspect of business and management research.
- Keywords and key phrases. Within the journal wibsite there is a search facility to look for papers that have been published and the keywords will be used in conjunction with this. Therefore please include at least four words or short phrases that highlight the topics covered by the paper.
